From the Bottom of the Heart: Rosenthal vases for Mother's Day
Mini Vases 2021/Design: Rosenthal Creative Center
Rosenthal is expanding its successful 2021 mini-vase collection with five new objects. Phi City by Cairn Young, Core and La Chute by Cédric Ragot, Skum by BIG and Totem by Ambrogio Tozzi also come out as miniatures between eight and eleven centimeters tall. Also available as mini-vases are Falda by Sebastian Herkner, the legendary bag vase by Tapio Wirkkala and Fast and Squall by Cédric Ragot. The shapely little creatures prefer to stand together as a group and enjoy admiring glances.
Vase “Skum”/Design: BIG
Similar to soap bubbles, porcelain balls are joined together here to form an object with a strong character that will stand out in any interior. The 26 cm tall "Skum" vase is available in four versions made of high-quality porcelain: in matt and glossy white, it scores with Scandinavian understatement, in Gold and Platinum it is a glamorous eye-catcher and limited to 99 pieces each.
Vase Collection “Vesi”/Design: Mikko Laakkonen
With "Vesi", Rosenthal focuses on casual aesthetics for every day. Two reliefs characterize the Scandinavian-inspired series: while "Wavelet" imitates the calm flowing waves of water on the outside of the vases, "Droplet" trenchantly places large and small drops on the shiny porcelain. The result is a successful mix of look and feel - the vases impress with beautiful design and feel good.
Rosenthal Falda Vase/Design: Sebastian Herkner
Designer Sebastian Herkner loves the skilful interplay of materials, surfaces and production techniques. The simple, bulbous vase made from biscuit porcelain with its velvety surface and pleated, top-quality collar with a golden titanium coating is reminiscent of Art Deco objects. However, the appearance of the collar is a digital interpretation of this time thanks to its precise folding. The collar surrounds and embellishes the floral arrangement in an unusual way. However, even without floral decoration, Falda is an object with plenty of style and character.
