Dazzling White: Stylish tableware ideas for an elegant wedding in white

Rosenthal - Suomi

The porcelain service “Suomi” created by the Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva was celebrated as a milestone in the history of the Rosenthal Studio-Line. Its forms embody the Rosenthal standard for excellent design and the creation of lasting values and authenticity. The set’s body is reminiscent of a river pebble, worn down and rounded off over the centuries by the power of water. The unceasing movement of the river, which smoothes the resting stones, is the source of Timo Sarpaneva’s design. The name “Suomi”, which simply means Finland, is a clear homage to his home country. “Suomi” is lent its particular character by the combination of white porcelain and metal.

Rosenthal - Landscape

Patricia Urquiola has designed for Rosenthal a dining concept, which meets the standards of ground-breaking product design with its language form and excellent craftsmanship. Her design combines western tabletop culture with the oriental tradition of spontaneous and versatile tableware usage. The characteristic design of the dining concept comes to the fore on the plates with their relinquished borders particularly well. Different three-dimensional patterns lend the porcelain series an extra dimension and emphasise its high quality.

Rosenthal - Magic Flute

"Magic Flute" by Bjørn Wiinblad is an operatic dream set in porcelain, an imaginitive and unique synthesis of music and table culture that will make any wedding very special. Each item of this exquisite service depicts a different scene from Mozart's opera. The underside bears the relevant passage from the libretto - in Bjørn Wiinblad's own handwriting.

Rosenthal - Maria

"Maria" stands for porcelain history and table culture. The service has enjoyed enduring popularity over the decades, and it is one of the most extensive and best-selling tableware forms of all time. The service was named after the wife of the company's founder Philipp Rosenthal, who married Maria, 35 years his junior, in 1916. Supposedly inspired by the design of a silver tea service, its polygonal design with distinctive edged relief work in the form of a fruit garland, became the most extensive of Rosenthal's services.

Sambonet - Siena

In Siena, the solidity of stainless steel matches the romantic style. Suggestions and details that come from the Tuscan manufacturing art of working leather. As concrete and strong as the earth of the hills thanks to the thickness of its body, but beautiful and haughty like the medieval city from which it takes its name, this collection is full of meaning thanks to a sophisticated relief, coined on the entire surface. It is perfetc for naturalist moods, jungle or extremely refined outdoor tables.

Sambonet - Venezia

Unusual and mysterious, original and romantic for its reflections of light on the water, for its artistic arches and bridges. Venezia fascinates the travellers in Italy the most - a miracle created by nature and the hand of man. The relief of the cutlery is inspired by the wave ripples on the shore fortifications and the ornate architecture. An organic décor with filigree embossing on the entire cutlery piece, which always attracts attention with its delicate design.
