The TAC collection, an icon of the Bauhaus and designed by Walter Gropius, is given a new graphic design in precious gold. A fine relief is created on the flat parts by elaborate multiple finishing, hollow parts such as the teapot are given a velvety, matt surface by high-quality screen printing decoration. Small superimposed leaves create a gold-coloured mosaic that extends over the entire surface of the plate or only appears as a contour at the edge. The new decor thus picks up on the theme of structure and contrast already implemented in Gropius' original design and reinforces the striking design of the timeless classic, which is one of Rosenthal's best-selling tableware series.
