Ultra Violet: Bay and Scoop wear the new Pantone trend colour
Each season the team at the Pantone Color Institute chooses a trend colour that influences fashion, beauty and interior design. In 2018 ultra violet is that fascinating tone. The sofa Bay and the chair Scoop from Rosenthal Interieur collection already wear the complex and distinctive purple shade.
Sofa Bay/Design: Sebastian HerknerA little bay to snuggle into and feel good – designer Sebastian Herkner transfers this sublime image to a stylish and relaxed sofa concept for design fans and comfort lovers. Bay captivates with an incredibly impressive wooden frame made from oiled oak and fabric cover on which loose cushions can be perfectly arranged. The modular concept allows for a wide range of combination options, and its generous seat depth, low seat height and high-quality cold foam upholstery make this sofa an ideal all-rounder for relaxing, surfing the Internet or working.
Chair Scoop/Design: Diana und Emmanuel Dietrich
Scoop is an eye-catcher for every room. Its organic shape reminds you of the original forms of nature and radiates calmness and relaxation on its users. With bended knees or outstretched legs, the comfortable seat snuggles perfectly to each body form and is a stylish design object at the same time.

Established figures from the worlds of architecture, design and art, but also the hottest newcomers and talents design avant-garde dinner table collections, foster a joy of giving and create sophisticated furnishings. The collections are manufactured in the Rosenthal porcelain factory in Selb and the “Thomas am Kulm” porcelain factory in Speichersdorf, which offer some of the porcelain industry‘s most advanced production facilities anywhere in the world and deliver sustainable manufacturing with careful use of resources thanks to the forward- looking investments that have been made. New interior collections and accessories enrich the Rosenthal world by adding designer objects that go far beyond the limits of a conventional table setting and round off the huge product variety.
