Naturalness on the Table: Trendy ceramics by Thomas and Arzberg
Thomas Clay: Earth, Sky, Rock and Rust
The Thomas collection Clay radiates a rustic sensuality. Available in three different colour variations, Thomas Clay captivates with its functionality and the naturalness of the stoneware material, which looks like clay. The grooved structure and the black speckles in the material give the plates and cups an authentic character in a handmade look. The reason for the speckles are small iron inclusions that melt up during firing and thus give the ceramic this special touch.
Warm reddish brown in Earth tells of Mediterranean earth and gentle hills, it creates a feeling of security and well-being at home. Dark grey-blue Sky, like the sky before a summer storm, sets the counterpoint to the sensual earth and harmonizes perfectly with it. The rich, reddish brown Rust tells of a sense of well-being, down-to-earthness and depth. Neutral, but by no means boring, is the light, pebble-grey natural tone Rock. It brings lightness to the collection and creates a balance between all shades.
Thomas Cliff "White Beach"
Like an island from a bird's eye view, appear the organic shapes of the new collection Thomas Cliff. Spanish designer Gemma Bernal captures in its forms the warm Mediterranean light, the sandy beaches and the connection between the island and the surrounding sea. The new "White Beach" glaze emphasises the harmonious curves of the island landscape.
In Cliff, every item is two-coloured: light cream-beige as the basic colour is combined with soft white. In this delicate mix of colours, plates, cups and bowls in various sizes rise above the table surface like single small cliff coasts, and create a harmonious, timeless look.
Arzberg: Joyn Denim Blue
Trendy and easy-going - the new Joyn Denim Blue colour by Arzberg is a versatile all-rounder. Like the popular blue jeans, denim is a cool everyday companion and creates a laid-back look for any occasion. On the plates, cups and bowls in various sizes, the light denim blue conveys comfort and serenity and at the same time, in combination with the soft sand beige and shimmering anthracite grey of the Joyn Stoneware collection, it unfolds a distinctive presence that always reflects the spirit of the times.
Arzberg: Joyn Stoneware
As if cut from sandstone into round shapes - the new Joyn Stoneware collection from Arzberg is the embodiment of warmth and naturalness. The stoneware with coloured inner glaze celebrates tapas and dining culture in the "Iron", "Spark" and "Ash" décors. Calm, earthy colours of soft cream beige, matt brick red and shimmering anthracite grey create a relaxed effect and give the collection a handcrafted and uncomplicated style. The fine, roughened outer side of the items, recalling the pleasant feeling of pebbles, gives Joyn Stoneware a special handmade touch.
Easily combined with the versatile Joyn porcelain collection, Joyn Stoneware creates with its mix of materials a harmonious and timeless look. Joyn Stoneware slows down the everyday life and provides space for moments of enjoyment - whether alone, with friends or with the family.
