Gifts of Joy: Elegant Christmas gift ideas by Rosenthal

Rosenthal - Far, far, closer

With "Far, Far, Closer" Morgann Lechat captures this intimate journey into a world unknown and yet so close to us in emotional illustrations. The sensitive and at the same time insistent motifs are space-spanning, they do not restrict themselves by formal boundaries, but cross them and reconnect beyond them - and tell their stories of the need for touch and closeness, to ourselves and others.

Rosenthal - Zodiac Plate Year of the Tiger

Energetic, proud and determined: as the third animal of the Chinese horoscope, the tiger is a strong-willed free spirit. For the Chinese New Year 2022, the Rosenthal Zodiac collection picks up on this dynamic star sign in a powerful design by the iShoni design studio. The title "Courage and Renaissance" on the back of the collector's plate stands for the courage of new beginnings and the strength of a fresh start.

Rosenthal - Vases

You can never have enough vases. When these vases feature outstanding beautiful shapes, there are virtually no limits to a person's passion for collecting them. So it's good to have the Rosenthal's most popular vases also in miniature. "Phi City", "Squall" and "La Chute", "Skum", "Falda" and "Fast" are the names of these beautiful items. Hop, a new design object by Sebastian Herkner, is also available as a vase in two different sizes and as a bowl. The famous bag vase by Tapio Wirkkala is presented in new pastel colour shades.

Rosenthal - Cappello

With the sympathetic collection "Cappello" Rosenthal brings a charm offensive at the laid table. The two-piece cup initially disguises itself as bowler hat in Charlie-Chaplin style and then turns out to be a cup with a saucer, which not only looks good thanks to the combination of matt and shiny porcelain but which is also a pleasure to hold in your hand.

Rosenthal - Pets

Dog Alfonso, cat Smokey, monkey Gordon, pig alley, mouse Elvis and the owl Snow white in the delicate colours Brown, Stone, Rosé and White look like knitted by hand are available in three different sizes. Each figure is gift boxed and a perfect present for beloved people.

Rosenthal - Salt Oyster

Pape's salt oyster, a gourmet gift idea, combines the fine cuisine of Sylt with elegant Rosenthal porcelain. The oyster features a delicate relief structure and a shimmering mother-of-pearl glaze on the inside, making it an excellent choice not only as a vessel for Sylt sea salt from Alexandro Pape's salt works, but also as an unorthodox table accessory.

With the paperbag vase, Tapio Wirkkala took aim at pop culture with a wink in 1977 and created one of the Rosenthal classics par excellence. The Finnish designer was one of the most influential designers at Rosenthal from the very beginning. For the studio line's 60th anniversary year, the iconic vases are now being launched in rose-coloured cameo, light grey lava, orange-red coral, and pastel gre
