All Gold that glitters! Luxurious table setting with Rosenthal, Rosenthal meets Versace and Sambonet

Rosenthal Heritage Collection - Midas

For his collection „Midas“ the Italian designer Gianni Cinti took reference from the Greek mythology of King Midas, who was given by Dionysos the power to turn everything he touched into gold. On the classic baroque shape of Sanssouci, he created a pattern that plays with different gradients of gold: just traces of gold, hint or full golden - like fingertips - on the plates and cups. The pattern has a handcrafted character that is explicitly imperfect in its perfection of handpainted golden lines at the handles of the sugar bowl or the coffee- and teapot.

Rosenthal - La Chute, Squall and Fast

Fascinated by materials' plasticity and limits of deformability, French designer Cédric Ragot designed vibrant vase series for Rosenthal. Whereas the design "La Chute" takes up the big questions of creation and finiteness, his object "Squall" refers to the already successful vase "Fast" created by Ragot in 2007 and preserves a movement in all its dynamics in porcelain. 

Rosenthal meets Versace - Medusa Grande

The iconic Break the Bank Medusa silhouette is reinterpreted – this time as a vase in gold. The slit on the top of Medusa’s head is made larger, fitting perfectly an array of flowers. The legendary silhouette is made of the finest porcelain and is available in four sizes as well as an exclusive scented candle with high-quality natural organic soy wax.

Sambonet - Gio Ponti

The charming centrepiece gives rise to a capsule collection dedicated to the Gio Ponti design. Sophisticated design
objects that, in addition to perfect lines, feature trending colours to change the look of a table setting or simply to lend a
character to any type of location. The project of the Centrepiece was unpublished up to 2013 – when Sambonet finally brought the project to light – it was immediately awarded the most prestigious international Design recognitions, soon becoming one of the most representative creations that the Master has dedicated to the table.

In its larger size it can undoubtedly dominate a location or create striking fruit and flower compositions on the table. In its
smaller size the Centrepiece takes on its own personality. From a design accessory it may become - for design lovers - an
exclusive wedding gift or even be interpreted as an individual serving piece in a spectacular place setting.

Sambonet - Venezia

Unusual and mysterious, original and romantic for its reflections of light on the water, for its artistic arches and bridges. Venezia fascinates the travellers in Italy the most - a miracle created by nature and the hand of man. The relief of the cutlery is inspired by the wave ripples on the shore fortifications and the ornate architecture. An organic décor with filigree embossing on the entire cutlery piece, which always attracts attention with its delicate design.
