Sofa Bay/Design: Sebastian Herkner
A little bay to snuggle into and feel good – designer Sebastian Herkner transfers this sublime image to a stylish and relaxed sofa concept for design fans and comfort lovers. Bay captivates with an incredibly impressive wooden frame made from oiled oak and fabric cover on which loose cushions can be perfectly arranged. The modular concept allows for a wide range of combination options, and its generous seat depth, low seat height and high-quality cold foam upholstery make this sofa an ideal all-rounder for relaxing, surfing the Internet or working.
This new creation is inspired by the successful furniture range Hombre, which Burghard Vogtherr designed for Rosenthal back in 1975. Bay is available as a one-seater, two-seater or three-seater sofa or daybed in a range of fabric and leather designs.

At Modular the name says it all: versatile and expandable, the clear architectonical alignment, the harmonious proportions and the ¦nest leather of highest quality invite you to stay comfortably and for a long time. In trendy lemon yellow or elegant grey the seating module combines the aura of an individual piece of design with the seating comfort of lounge furniture for pleasant moments.
Chair Scoop/Design: Diana and Emmanuel Dietrich
Scoop is an eye-catcher for every room. Its organic shape reminds you of the original forms of nature and radiates
calmness and relaxation on its users. With bended knees or outstretched legs, the comfortable seat snuggles perfectly to each body form and is a stylish design object at the same time.
Carpets Faceted/Design: Dorothea Lang and Matthias Zinkl
With their unique cutting techniques, colours and pile heights, which recreate the texture and appearance of porcelain, the Faceted carpet range add the finishing touches to Rosenthal’s exclusive interior collection of furniture, lamps and accessories in the truest sense. The range was the outcome of a partnership between young designers Dorothea Lang and Matthias Zinkl and Münchner Teppichmanufaktur.
The interplay of light and shadow turns mono-colour surfaces into multifaceted, complex structures. The Faceted collection picks up on this idea and uses contrasting monochrome, geometrical sections to create three-dimensional-looking carpets with one-of-a-kind effects.
