Paint It Blue! The trend colour blue in the focus of tablescaping

The colour of harmony and mystery, the blue colour celebrates its moment in spring and summer and is also a must-have for the table. In collections by Rosenthal, Rosenthal meets Versace, Swarovski x Rosenthal and Thomas, the trend colour captivates through the diversity of its nuances and thus inspires us into daydreaming.

Rosenthal: Francis Carreau Bleu

Historical references and modern elegance come together in the Carreau pattern on the Francis design to create a classically luxurious yet simple-looking table arrangement. The interplay of shaded and unshaded checked areas in royal blue with a delicate gold outline produces a kaleidoscopic colour effect. Subtle white surfaces bring a calming and airy feeling to the design and create an exciting contrast between light and dark, which is wonderfully complemented by the clear lines of the Francis design.

Rosenthal meets Versace: Medusa Blue

With Medusa Blue, Rosenthal presents the collection in a symbolic range of colours. Royal blue, the original colour of the Versace Home Collection, sets the service collection in a distinguished colour mood: noble and extravagant. In addition to the rich blue base colour, the familiar elements are maintained: warm yellow tones in different nuances, brightened up by high-quality gold accents and, as a counterpoint, distinguished black. The highlight of this series is a magnificent gold-coloured medusa head, framed by fine baroque decorations. It adorns all of the cups, tea and coffee pots, service and side plates in the collection.

Swarovski x Rosenthal: Signum Azure

Swarovski takes its seat at the table with the launch of the Signum Collection, created in partnership with world-renowned porcelain artisan, Rosenthal. With this collection, Swarovski is introducing its brand pattern for the very first time, a translation of the brand’s octagonal motif. Inspired by the 19th century Austrian art movement, with its modern approach towards arts and craftmanship, the collection is colourful yet sophisticated with a retro futuristic vibe. Rosenthal’s extreme attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of their craft results in a range that is as artistic as it is usable. With a touch of art and alchemy, the Swarovski x Rosenthal Signum Collection honors l’art de la table–the pleasure of setting a table–with a fresh approach to modern living.

Thomas: Sunny Day Soft Blue

Dreamy yet with a touch of freshness - the new Soft Blue colour is a real free spirit in the beloved Sunny Day collection. The soft blue shade reminds of airy blue sky or the calm water of a lagoon and provides tranquility. In combination with the cooler Sunny Day colours such as Petrol, Nordic Blue and Turquoise, Soft Blue brings maritime flair into the home. The natural light blue reveals its cheerful mood also with the pastel nuances Greige or Rose Powder and cannot be imagined without its colour partner Soft Yellow. Soft Blue brings harmony to the table and makes the clear Sunny Day shapes look nearly weightless.
